work place & I, in the night time

play alone at my work place in the night time. when i on duty night shift it's just only few people working here if i finished my jobs early i will walk around platform, nothing special just look around.
when i look outside i will see the navigation light at wellhead platform and the dark aound, cant see anything in the night time. "Dark sea" can i call this time like this?
